LUBBOCK – Covenant Health System was recently recognized on a national level as an outstanding employer in the health care industry. Announced on Monday, Oct. 27, Covenant is ranked No. 21 by “Modern Healthcare” as one of the best places to work in health care.
Any organization in the health care industry with a minimum of 25 full-time employees was eligible to receive the award. Health care employers, who wished to participate, completed a questionnaire and survey. Approximately 238 health care organizations and companies participated in the survey, which determined the top 100.
“We are honored to receive this award,” said Melinda Clark, president and CEO of Covenant Health System. “Covenant employees give 100 percent effort in their services and they are the reason for this award.”
